Regulatory Compliance Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Regulatory Compliance Analyst to join our Compliance team. This role will be responsible for executing compliance testing and monitoring reviews of the firm’s broker-dealer and investment adviser activities. The Analyst will assess the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, and internal controls designed to ensure compliance with U.S. federal securities laws and regulations, with a focus on FINRA Rule 3120 and Section 206(4)-7 of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940. As part of the Regulatory Affairs function of the compliance team, the RCA will report to the Head of Regulatory Affairs and assist in regulatory responses, and regulatory risk analysis activities for SPGA’s broker-dealer and investment adviser subsidiaries.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of securities regulations, experience in a compliance, audit, or legal environment, and a passion for protecting investors and maintaining regulatory standards.

This role is essential in ensuring smooth IT operations, providing technical support to employees, and maintaining robust security measures, including email spam filtering and Data Loss Prevention (DLP). Deputy General Counsel

Reporting to the Head of Strategic Initiatives and Chief Legal Officer (“CLO”), the Deputy General Counsel will serve as a key senior member of the legal team, playing a crucial role in shaping and overseeing the Firm’s legal strategies and operations. This role requires a strong understanding of diverse legal disciplines, including corporate law, regulatory compliance, litigation management, employment law, real estate law, and vendor contracting and management, among others. Working closely with and supporting the CLO, this senior role involves providing sound legal advice, implementing best practices, and mitigating risks while upholding the highest ethical standards. Additionally, the Deputy General Counsel will serve as a trusted advisor to senior management and cross-functional departments, ensuring that the Firm’s business objectives align with relevant legal requirements and fostering a culture of transparency and accountability. With responsibilities ranging from managing transactions to negotiating key contracts, the role requires exceptional analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate complex legal landscapes adeptly. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of relevant experience, with substantial exposure to a wide range of corporate and related matters and a proven track record of leading complex transactions in the wealth management industry.

Joining an existing Steward Partners Financial Advisor team, the Financial Advisor will play a key role in driving business development, asset acquisition, and revenue growth. Supporting business development, the Financial Advisor will leverage their network, knowledge, and experience to build new client relationships and identify new business opportunities. This individual will be responsible for developing customized financial plans, advising clients on tax and investment strategies, and ensuring that clients’ financial strategies align with their long-term goals.
