Divisional President — Southeast

The primary focus of the role is to establish and build a presence for Steward Partners in key markets as identified by senior management. Once a branch or branches in a market are established, it’s the responsibility of the Divisional President to drive revenue through recruiting and organic growth, focus on meeting profit objectives and effectively manage the business from a risk and compliance perspective. Job functions include maintaining a superior and consistent level of client service, developing cohesive teams, providing consistent leadership and assuming accountability for the key performance metrics.

The Divisional President must be responsible for strong fiscal management, employee morale, culture, business ethics and practices, while adhering to all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations. The Divisional President also leads the team functions including operations, risk, compliance and business development.

Transitions Relationship Manager

Working closely with the Divisional and Operations teams, the Transitions Relationship Manager’s primary responsibility is to effectively support the onboarding of the Financial Advisor team to the Firm by providing training, consulting, and support services. The Transitions Relationship Manager will serve as a liaison with the Firm’s custodians to ensure compliance with protocol requirements while managing the internal processes for transitions and onboarding, in addition to the requirements for each custodian.

Operations Specialist

The Operations Specialist is responsible for overseeing daily workflows, approving new accounts, and managing money movement. Reporting to the Operations Principal, this role also focuses on identifying process improvements and supporting the centralization of operational functions.

Divisional Business Coordinator

The primary role of the Divisional Business Coordinator is to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Division. This includes managing projects and supporting advisor transitions, event planning, and providing divisional support. The role requires a highly organized individual with exceptional attention to detail, a strong sense of urgency, and the ability to effectively multitask in a growing team environment. The individual must build strong relationships, be proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.

Client Administrative Manager

Working as part of a team, the Client Administrative Manager (CAM) is responsible for providing operational and administrative support to a Financial Advisor or team of Financial Advisors. The CAM enhances the client experience by providing exceptional client service and supporting Branch functions as needed.

Financial Reporting & Technical GAAP Accountant

The Financial Reporting & Technical GAAP Accountant will use their accounting knowledge and technical skills to assist the firm with respect to the interpretation of complex accounting rules and standards, accounting for complex business transactions, including acquisitions and business combinations, and the management and oversight of all revenue recognition, lease accounting, and equity-related accounting matters. The role requires a deep understanding of US GAAP accounting principles and disclosure matters and the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to various stakeholders, including our external auditors.

Position Overview:

The Client Onboarding Specialist is an integral part of the team that supports newly hired Financial Advisors transition client relationships, setting up accounts, and supporting documents. This hands-on role leverages strong data management skills, attention to detail along with high levels of client service and the ability to problem solve and work as part of a team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establishes new client accounts by utilizing industry registration requirements.
  • Via department workflows, enforces documentation requirements of clients and accounts to meet industry policies and regulations, including Anti Money Laundering and Know Your Client.
  • Reviews standard issues, analyzes and interprets data and determines appropriate account type.
  • Prepares supporting documents based on client profiles.
  • Supports and complies with established policies and procedures. May recommend suggestions to improve workflows, policies, and procedures.
  • Contributes to department projects, documentation, general analysis and testing as needed.
  • Participates in a high learning culture where on-the-job training is prevalent.
  • Reviews daily tasks for accuracy and completeness. Maintains detailed records/notes to ensure all client requests are logged and completed in a timely fashion.
  • Assists other areas of the department with various functions when volume is high.
  • May be required to assist with after-hour account opening.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • High School Degree or equivalent with at least two (2) years of customer service experience.
  • Experience in a contact center environment and college degree preferred.
  • Basic customer operations and the financial industry.
  • Detail orientation and flexibility sufficient to handle high volume of phone calls requiring quick analytical and supportive responses.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization including financial advisors and their team members
  • Identifying and resolving operational issues.
  • Numerical aptitude and critical thinking sufficient to solve operational problems.
  • Analyzing operational processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
  • Work constructively under stress and pressure when faced with high volume and deadlines.
  • Use good judgment in responding to a variety of client issues.
  • Competently analyze and prioritize information to make appropriate recommendations
  • Demonstrate efficiency and flexibility in performing detailed transactional tasks in a fast-paced work environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
  • Participate in on-the-job training and other learning activities to develop knowledge and understanding of FINRA, state and other regulatory agency rules and regulations regarding client accounts.

  • Extensive experience with Azure data services and cloud architecture.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages.
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data integration.
  • Experience with big data technologies and frameworks.
  • Exceptional leadership, team-building, and mentoring skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Azure data services or cloud architecture.
